Polyclear® Conserve™ PET

This formula provides all the properties of Polyclear® Refresh™ PET with the addition of post-consumer recycled content. Standard versions are available with 10 or 20 percent recycled content, and other variations are possible. INVISTA processes the post-consumer content directly into our reactors. We strip apart the post-consumer PET polymer and manufacture new polymers so that color and quality is maintained throughout the process. In addition to using Polyclear® Conserve™ PET, many of INVISTA’s customers add additional post-consumer content at the point of manufacture, achieving far greater loading percentage than possible using virgin polymers or PCR alone. Research is ongoing to increase the level of recycled content in Polyclear® Conserve™ PET. We invite inquiries from anyone interested in achieving higher levels.
